A bit of back tracking is required here as I have only been using my blog for my jewellery posts but I have decided now that it should represent me as a designer and photographer too so many new posts will soon appear!
Braided beads, woven to form samples
I have used all plastic yarns for the top sample, a mixture of plastic and natural yarns for the middle sample and all natural yarns for the bottom sample.
I prefer the all natural sample!

These samples are from my first second year project and are based on fishing and how like crafts, traditional techniques are being lost. unfortunately these are the only photos I have (taken on my phone) as the boards have been taken to be put up in the University at some point! but you get the general idea!
